The Case IH Cotton Express^® 620 cotton pickers feature a patented drum-and-spindle design that lets you recover more cotton. Two-sided picking means you harvest from both sides of the row.

Rotors Designed For High Efficiency

Case IH Cotton Express pickers are designed with rotors on both sides of the plant to give you more thorough penetration and complete coverage of the plant during picking. That can mean increased efficiency and profitability.

Extenda-Wear Plus Spindles

Cotton Express pickers feature a spindle design with a superior barb pattern of three rows of 14 barbs. The first three barbs in each row are cut at a 30-degree angle to pick efficiently and help start the doffing process, while the last eleven barbs are cut on a 45-degree angle. These barb configurations result in more efficient picking and doffing.

And for extended service life, Extenda-Wear Plus™ spindles have a 90-micron chrome thickness. Each spindle nut and shield is zinc-dichromate coated for superior corrosion protection.

The outstanding basket capacities of Cotton Express^® cotton pickers make them the clear leaders in the industry. You get 10,500 lbs. (4,762 kg) on the Cotton Express 620 — the baskets on these Case IH cotton pickers keep you on the row longer.

A standard auger compactor system with automatic operation is integral to maximizing the basket's capacity. Three augers help move cotton in the basket for a larger load between stops.

Auger/Compactor Design For Big Loads

No other machines on the market can come close to the capacities of the Cotton Express. They're designed to stay in the field picking longer, with fewer delays for unloading. The less you stop, the more you can pick — and the more you can profit.

A large basket capacity is great for productivity, as long as it doesn’t add unwanted soil compaction. Case IH equips Cotton Express^® pickers with duals for low ground pressure in tandem with the industry-leading basket capacities.

The Cotton Express 620 comes standard with 500/95-32 R1.5 dual-drive tires, specially designed for higher flotation. On the Cotton Express 620, these dual-drive tires exert just 28 psi (1.9 bar) of ground pressure.

A Larger Footprint

With high-flotation tires and a long wheelbase for better weight distribution, Case IH Cotton Express pickers are at ease in wet as well as dry fields. Plus, new optional mud scrapers help minimize buildup between duals.

The Cotton Express^® 620 is driven by a powerful turbocharged Case IH diesel engines designed for season after season of efficient, low-maintenance service. This powerful performer comes from the factory biodiesel-ready and is 100 percent biodiesel (B100) approved. 
  

The Cotton Express 620 gets its power from a 9-L (550-CID), six-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine that produces 365 hp (272 kW). The air cleaner is a dual stage dry type with service indicator. The alternator produces 185 amps; the electrical system also features two 950 CCA 12-volt batteries. A 200-gal. (757-L) fuel tank means you can pick a full day of cotton between fuel stops.

The Cotton Express^® 620 feature a three-speed hydrostatic transmission, electromechanical parking brakes and dual-pedal, hydraulic power disc brakes.

The 620s boast a super-heavy-duty dual-wheel standard final drive.

Cotton Express Hydrostatic Drive

In their two lowest gears, the Cotton Express 620 features 0 – 4.0 mph (0 – 6.3 kph) in 1st gear and 0 – 4.8 mph (0 – 7.7 kph) in 2nd. The 620s highest gear (3rd gear) is designed for on-the-road self-transport.

Unlike gravity-dump systems, power-metered unloading lets you start and stop the conveyor at any time for total operator control. That means you can fast-fill a module quickly and neatly. Then you can meter lint as you're topping off, for more cotton in the module and less spillage.

Basket Unloads With Stability and Control

Some pickers are built with an unstable tilting dump as their only provision for unloading. Not Cotton Express pickers. They are designed with a vertical-lift basket. This maintains the machine's center of gravity for added stability and less stress on the frame and tires.
