Power-packed, emission-compliant, biodiesel-approved engines provide muscle to handle heavy loads, wet conditions and hillsides without slowdown.

Other features include:

The deluxe WD 3 Series windrower cab is quiet and spacious. Many features make it the most comfortable cab in the industry:

• An adjustable, deluxe, air suspension seat with ride dampening
• A two-position tilting, telescoping steering wheel
• A floating right-hand control console that moves with the seat
  • Controls are always in a comfortable working position
  • The console easily adjusts fore/aft to suit different operators
• A convenient instructional seat with seat belt, making it easy to train new operators; folds up when not neede

New in 2013, the WD3 series can utilize the AFS Pro 700 display as optional equipment. The AFS Pro 700 monitor is utilized on several other Case IH equipment offerings. Key benefits to the AFS Pro 700 monitor include:

• Operational informaiton is dipslayed on the right. Coupled with the aftermarket GPS package, the left side of the dispaly can show GPS information.
• All machine functions and operation inforation is available in one display.
• Display can perform diagnostics
• Optional rear camera kit can be added and run through the AFS Pro 700 dipslay.

The new Multi-Function Handle is available on all 2013 models. The new handle features several ergonomic enhancements for increased operator productivity and comfort.

For 2013, the WD3 Series offers a heated leather seat option. The package include both the operator and instructor seats, and offers increased comfort during those long days in the field. 

The 2013 WD3 Series Windrowers offer an optional LED forward work and stubble lighting package for optimial night time visibility.

• The fron LED light package includes 4 LED work lights in the roof line and 2 halogen lights
• The rear LED light package includes 2 rear facing LED work lights and 2 LED stubble lights

The WD 3 Series windrower controls are always within easy reach with the Case IH Multi-Function Propulsion Lever (MFPL).

The MFPL’s palm rest fits the natural grip of your hand. It can be positioned easily to match different operators.
The result is responsive control of speed and direction.

Performance Monitor 

A four-line display performance monitor that’s mounted on the console lets you view more information at once. A button on the MFPL lets you scroll through functions on the screen. You’re able to monitor:

• Engine rpm
• Header rpm
• Ground speed (mph or kph)
• Fuel level
• Oil pressure
• Coolant temperature
• Engine hours
• Header hours
• Acres per hour
• Battery voltage

Tilt and pivot the monitor around the console to eliminate screen glare, regardless of the sun's angle.

Headers 

Case IH WD 3 Series windrowers offer a wide selection of headers. Choose from:

• Three top-performing rotary disc headers
• Four sicklebar headers
• Four draper headers

Quick-coupling hydraulics and lift arm latches allow you to switch between headers in a few minutes.

To cut different kinds of crops, replace the disc header with either an HDX 2 Series sickle header or

DH Series draper header in about 30 minutes — no tools required.

The hydraulically controlled header flotation system allows you to quickly respond to changing ground contours.

Programmed from the cab, using the monitor, enter the type of header and easily make adjustments on the go.

The independent hydraulic header flotation (WD1903 and WD2303) dual pumps control the cylinders

on the left and right sides of the header. You can set the header’s left side independently from the right side.

This is especially useful when working on borders and hillsides.

• The swing-out door behind the cab and lift-up side shields provide easy access to the engine and key maintenance points
• The rotary self-cleaning radiator screen keeps air flowing without restriction to the radiator
• The hinged swing-out cover opens wide to allow access to the air-conditioning condenser, hydraulic oil cooler, radiator and intercooler
• 120-gal. (454-L) fuel capacity means you can work a day without refills
• Fuel fill, hydraulic reservoir and hydraulic filters are accessible from ground level
• Conditioning roll pressure can be adjusted with a single hand crank
• Windrow shields and swath boards easily adjust without tools
