Flex Hoe Air Drills 

Case IH Flex Hoe air hoe drills feature flexible frames in seeding widths from 27–70 ft. (8.2–21.3 m). Residue flow is smooth, thanks to the four-bar frame that provides ground clearance up to 32 in. (81 cm).

Easy depth control across the entire machine is simple, thanks to hydraulic cylinders and industry-leading single-point depth adjustment. A patented slow-response steering arm on the Flex Hoe 700 for tow-behind air carts minimizes hillside skewing.

Flex Hoe 400 Model

• Base sizes include 27, 33, 39, 45 and 51 ft. (8.2, 10, 11.9, 13.7 and 15.5 m)
• Leading casters carry the frame inside the front, and press wheels carry the rear so residue is never blocked by wheels inside the frame
• Parallel linkage between front casters and rear press wheels keeps the frame level and maintains seeding depth in changing conditions
• Flexible frame joints dissipate frame stress for more durability and allows for more ground following

Flex Hoe 700

• Base sizes include 60 and 70 ft. (18.3 and 21.3 m), which fold down to a transport width of 17 ft. 8 in. (5.4 m)
• A strong mainframe of large, 12x12-in. (30.5x30.5-cm) steel tube with 10-ft. center section and either 10- or 15-ft. flexwings that hug the terrain
• A patented two-piece wing allows for precise depth — front-half depth is controlled by a nearby caster assembly, and rear-half depth is controlled by press wheels
• Variable packing pressure adjusts to conditions that change from field to field

Knife Seeding

• Places the seed and/or fertilizer in a narrow row using on-row press wheel packing

Ribbon Band Seeding

• Places seed and fertilizer in a wide band instead of a narrow row
• Allows for higher fertilizer rates than narrow row openers
• A low to moderate disturbance opener is used, followed by a matching on-row press wheel
  

Ribbon Band Sweep Seeding

• Seed and/or fertilizer is placed in a row behind a full sweep that provides weed control in the seeding pass

• Followed by on-row press wheels that match spread width
  

Double-Shoot Seeding

• Places seed and fertilizer on separate planes and at separate depths
• Placement is either between the rows, as a side band or as a paired-row configuration — followed by an on-row press wheel

Nok-on Opener System

• Quickly switch sweeps, along with either a narrow or wide opener, to add maximum versatility to your seeding system
