SUPERIOR SEED PLACEMENT
The Precision Disk single disk no-till disk blades are 22.5 inches (571.5 mm) in diameter – the largest in the industry – to effectively cut through debris and leave a clean furrow for optimum seed-to-soil contact and even germination.
Case IH Precision Disk air drills provide accurate and controlled seeding depth.
Disk Opener
  • Residue is cut (not pushed) due to 5-degree disk angle, which also reduces sidewall compaction
  • Accurate and consistent seeding depth is achieved thanks to durable steel scraper that creates a shelf on the side of the trench for seed – and it guards against plugging
  • Long life disk due to double bevel edge and durable Earth Metal® construction
Optimum and consistent seed trench depth is delivered by the proven Case IH Early Riser gauge wheel
Early Riser Gauge Wheel
  • Optimum and consistent seed trench depth is delivered by the proven Case IH Early Riser® gauge wheel
  • Moist soil is held next to the seed trench – delivered by the gauge wheel’s inverted soil groove
  • Then it is gently placed directly on top the seed to optimize germination
Change depth easily and safely from the front or back of Case IH Precision Disk air drills.
Seed Depth Adjustment
  • Change depth easily and safely from the front or back of the machine
  • A simple depth control lever easily places seed at the appropriate depth, from 1/4 - 3 1/2 in., adjustable in quarter-inch increments
Case IH Precision Disk air drills softly release the seed while allowing the air to escape.
Seed Tube
  • Seed is softly released onto the seed shelf while the air carrying the seed vents into the atmosphere, thanks to an angled seed tube design
  • Seed tube flattens out to fit behind the scraper into the narrow seed trench
Case IH packing system features a spring-loaded, smooth-crown closing wheel that optimizes furrow closure while it sheds dirt.
Packing System
  • Highly effective packing system features a spring-loaded, smooth-crown closing wheel that optimizes furrow closure while it sheds dirt
  • Plant more types of crops efficiently due to three packing pressure settings of 30, 45 and 60 lbs. (13.6, 20.4 and 27.2 kgs)
  • Pack directly over the seed row, or up to 2 in. (5 cm) to the side by adjusting the closing/press wheel position
  • Optional smooth-surface wheel mounted in line with seed shelf uses down pressure to maximize seed-to-soil contact
