TRANSMISSIONS
Choose from two transmissions on Farmall® C tractors: the standard 16 x 16 with mechanical shuttle or optional 16 x 16 with Power Shuttle.  Both provide:
  • More convenience and speeds than a typical utility tractor – including three gears below 1 mph (1.6 kph) for precise movement in tight quarters
  • Optional higher-speed (25-mph/40-kph) transmission (standard on Farmall 95C) for quicker transport between job sites
  • Optional hydraulically engaged wet clutch for smooth performance and long life
  • Digital ground speed display ideal for spraying, fertilizing and planting
16 x 16 transmission with synchronized mechanical shuttle is standard on Case IH Farmall® C Series tractors.
Standard 16 x 16 Transmission
  • Four speeds in each of four ranges
  • Shift from forward to reverse in any gear with the synchronized mechanical shuttle lever
  • Shuttle lever located on the left, freeing your right hand for other controls like the loader joystick
Case IH Farmall C Series tractors have a Power Shuttle transmission option.

  • Eliminates the need to clutch
    • Ideal for loader-intensive applications
  • Wet clutch pack helps extend life of Power Shuttle
  • Power Shuttle control is located on left side of tilt/telescoping steering column
    • Leaves your right hand free to work implement controls
