The New Century Farmer Program, sponsored by Case IH, Pioneer, Rabo AgriFinance, in cooperation with the National FFA Foundation, helps young, prospective agriculturalists see the exciting opportunities available to them in the 21st century. Applications are being accepted now through March 15, 2010. If selected as a New Century Farmer, you will participate in an all-expense paid educational conference being held July 19-23, 2010. Selections will be made based on the following criteria:
- Candidates must be currently attending or a recent graduate of a two or four-year college or university.
- Candidates must have experience in the field of production agriculture.
- Candidates must demonstrate the intention to return to a career in production agriculture through work experience, training or other activities including but not limited to academic classes, FFA involvement and/or SAE projects.
